CQS Solutions helped deliver a new community building within the grounds of Ysgol Morswyn in Holyhead, creating a flexible space designed to support both educational activities and wider community use. Constructing a new building within a live school environment required careful planning and coordination throughout the project. Appointed as Quantity Surveyor and Cost Consultant, CQS Solutions provided comprehensive cost consultancy services from procurement through to final account agreement. The team was responsible for cost planning, tender analysis, ongoing financial monitoring and the assessment of valuations and variations, ensuring robust financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with the client, contractor and school staff, CQS Solutions helped ensure construction activities were carefully sequenced and managed around the day-to-day operation of the school. Through proactive communication and effective cost management, the project was delivered safely and within the approved budget.
