The CQS Solutions Ltd team rose to the challenge when they were contracted to handle commercial management services by the Dodd Group (Midlands) Ltd for a 268 unit residential apartment scheme in Birmingham.
Despite multiple delays because of the Covid-19 epidemic, CQS worked closely with the Dodd Group team to navigate the contract and deliver the £10million project.
The CQS team also earned praise for taking the initiative in helping to manage the programme as well as producing extra reports and helping overcome technical design related challenges.
“CQS delivered the commercial and contract admin support that we needed so that the project managers could focus more on delivery.
“We had multiple delays to completion due to the Covid-19 pandemic and CQS helped us navigate the contract and agree the final account in an effective and collaborative way with an important repeat client,” said Dodd Group operations director Paul Davies.
CQS Solutions was engaged to appraise and advise on the conditions of contracts, finalise an activity schedule based on the scope of the tender, administer early warnings in accordance with the contract terms and produce and agree compensation events with the main contractor.
The CQS team also liaised with the site production team to produce a monthly application for payment to draw down payments and forecast progress.
